Chapter 257: Tianya Danger

Chapter 257: Tianya Danger

Tian Ya and Dragontooth Rice left the town and flew quickly through the night. When she got tired, she stopped to rest.

Dragontooth Rice continued to sense and said anxiously, “They are still chasing me. They are getting closer and closer.”

“They don’t even know where you are. How are they chasing you?” Tian Ya didn’t understand.

“I was hit by the World Dao Lightning and now I am like a firefly at night; I am extremely bright and they are going to surround us from all directions.” Dragontooth Rice said solemnly.

Tian Ya was anxious and asked, “Do you have any abilities that can help me escape?”

“I am just a big rice grain. I can reproduce many descendants but I don’t have abilities.” Dragontooth Rice’s head hurt.

“What can we do? My legs hurt and I can’t run for long.” Tian Ya rubbed her legs.

“Moreover, my legs are short and the other people are flying. I definitely won’t be able to outrun them.” Tian Ya hugged the rice.

“The key is that you can’t too. You fly as fast as I run. Logically speaking, you are so amazing. Your descendants allow people to live to 800, but why is your cultivation so weak?” Tian Ya didn’t understand.

“My ability to reproduce is too great, so my cultivation is weak.” Dragontooth Rice felt maligned.

“If both my cultivation and reproduction skills were invincible, then wouldn’t I be overpowered?” Dragontooth Rice asked.

Tian Ya thought about it. It made sense.

“Everything in the world is about balance. Beings like us is good in some ways and bad in others.” Dragontooth Rice sighed.

“So, what now?” Tian Ya frowned and asked.

“Continue to run. Head south.” Dragontooth Rice pointed.

Tian Ya sighed. She felt like she shouldn’t have signed a contract with the Dragontooth Rice. She had become its comrade just like that and had no choice but to flee.

It was the first time she had left home and she had to pay such a huge price.

Tian Ya regretted things!

But when she thought about the strong abilities of the Dragontooth Rice, Tian Ya wanted to protect it and pass it to Granddad Deity.

“Granddad Deity saved my family so many times and I want to repay him and give Dragontooth Rice to him. Dragontooth Rice will be well protected there.” Tian Ya ran and thought about it.

Dragontooth Rice didn’t think that it would be sold by Tian Ya.

It continued to sense the people around.

So many!

There were really many of them!

So many that Dragontooth Rice felt despair.

Hong!

Suddenly, it sensed a red flame surging over.

His aura was huge!

The flames were rumbling and pointing right at Tian Ya!

Dragontooth Rice shouted, “Tian Ya, quickly stop!”

Tian Ya stopped and looked at Dragontooth Rice with a confused expression.

In the next second, a giant fireball landed dozens of meters in front of her.

Explosion!

The flames shot Tian Ya into the air and she fell to the ground.

A layer of energy protection shot out from Dragontooth Rice and protected Tian Ya within.

Peng!

Tian Ya was uninjured from the impact which made Dragontooth Rice heave a sigh of relief.

The giant flames scattered and the weapon was revealed.

A spear!

A flame spear that was totally red. Its aura was blistering hot like it could ignite the area around.

The person holding the spear was an arrogant looking fellow.

He held a spear and his expression was one of disdain as he walked out. He looked at Tian Ya and reached out, “Hand the Dragontooth Rice over. It is not something a country bumpkin like you can take. Hand it over and I will let you live. I will only cut off your arm and leg.”

Arrogant!

Preposterous!

Disdain!

This person’s tone was really proud, and along with that expression of his, it really made one speechless.

He also gave one a look as if he was showing mercy.

Slice off an arm and a leg!

That was showing mercy?

Tian Ya frowned, “Who are you?”

“Me?” The teen smiled proudly and sighed, “A girl like you shouldn’t know my name but I am kind, so I shall give you a chance and tell you. After you hear it, just kneel down and thank me.”

Tian Ya shook her head, “You are too vain. You just said your name and you want me to kneel down and thank you. How can you be so shameless? You aren’t even handsome?”

Hong!

“I gave you a chance to worship me and you don’t cherish it. You are asking to die!” The teen’s expression became cold. He was infuriated and stabbed forwards at Tian Ya.

Dragontooth Rice exclaimed, using its energy to try to protect Tian Ya.

But at that moment, a cold light slashed across from the distance.

A sword glow!

With the frost of the cold moon, it smashed into the spear.

Clang!

A crisp sound resounded and terrifying sword energy breezed past, shooting the flaming spear away.

“I think the little girl is right.” A cold voice rang out. She held a sword and pointed at him.

She was a beauty; her hair was in a ponytail and her expression was cold.

“Liu Mingyue, how dare you interrupt me?” The spear-wielding teen said with a dark and sunken expression.

“I am stopping you, so what can you do?” She said coldly.

“You are asking to die! Do you think that Heaven Slaying Sword Technique can compete with my spear?” The teen was furious. He stabbed his spear forwards and flames shone in the darkness.

“You are still playing with flames late at night. Aren’t you worried you will wet the bed Aojue!” A loud shout spread from afar along with mocking laughter.

“Who?” Aojue’s face sunk and he stared at the person who had come.

The sound of dragon-horse hooves could suddenly be heard.

“Huntian Path’s Little Demon!” Aojue gritted his teeth.

“Not bad, I am your grandfather. I heard in the Nine Skies that you are arrogant, but you don’t seem arrogant. You are just dumb.” Huntian Path’s Little Demon laughed out loud.

“Go and die!” Aojue was pissed off and thrust his spear forwards.

Hong!

The spear stabbed the space and ripped it open. It instantly appeared in front of the Little Demon.

“Scram!”

Huntian Path’s Little Demon was surrounded in demonic energy. He pulled out his own weapon, a halberd, and swung down.

Dang!

There was a loud thud and the both of them retreated. The dragon-horse snorted.

“Scoff!” Both of them knew that they wouldn’t be able to do much with one another and scoffed coldly.

Tian Ya was terrified as she looked at the three of them. They seemed amazing and she couldn’t flee.

“You can hand me over and you can live.” Dragontooth Rice suggested.

“No, you belong to my Granddad Deity. I won’t hand you over unless it is to Granddad Deity.” Tian Ya rejected firmly.

Since those experts came to snatch it, Tian Ya knew that it was precious.

It was best if she gave it to Granddad Deity as it would make him really happy.
